Welcome to The Holy Nativity Episcopal Private School of Bay County
-
Our middle school provides advanced academic offerings in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies-including several high school level honors classes. It is no surprise that each year 100% of our graduates are accepted into the advanced high school programs or that our students consistently achieve impressive pass rates on the state EOC (End Of Course) math assessments. Students can explore personal interests through electives such as visual arts, home economics, tennis, yoga, running club, musical theater, multiple technology options, yearbook, robotics, math teams, Student Government Association and BETA Club.
A passion for learning is fostered and evident in 1st through 5th grade. Reading skills are nurtured through the use of whole-group and small-group instruction on students’ individual levels. A Singapore-style Math curriculum encourages exploration and deep understanding of concepts. Our project-based Social Studies and Science units provide students with a variety of hands-on learning opportunities. Students also enjoy weekly instruction in art, character education, library, music, P.E., Spanish, and technology.
The joyful faces of our 3, 4, and 5 year olds fill our classrooms. Campus-wide parades celebrating the alphabet, recognizing Community Helpers, and commemorating the 100th day of school when 100-year-olds are cheered by all. Early literacy and math skills, handwriting, social studies, and social skills provide a solid foundation for preschool and kindergarten learners. Teachers for art, music, P.E., Spanish, and technology offer an enriching variety of options each week.
The joy and success of our students, as well as the overwhelming achievements of our graduates, speaks to the excellence of Holy Nativity Episcopal School.
